Our company steps in to help people every day that bought a house they could not afford. We help them stop foreclosure or find a home they can afford then do a short sale to save them from 20 years of harrassment by the mortgage debt collectors (TX laws). People are not aware that bad credit can keep them from buying a car or even hinder their ability to find a job and get promoted. Before walkiing away from a mortgage people should do all they can to make sure the debt on the loan is cancelled. We do that for our clients.
Those people who needed grants to get into homes probably should not have bought a home in the first place. It is very sad to go through foreclosure.
